That is what a gentleman from Oslo said they called this kind of weather while I was chatting today. He said he was correct too because they invented winter in Norway! When people fire up their stoves to make cakes for Christmas, can cause a thaw.
It has been raining today, most of the snow is gone except for some icy patches and in places where there is a north shadow. My sister returned to NY yesterday following a week’s visit. We talked my parents into attending the Christmas Eve service that Pastor Joyce held in a barn this year. The logistics were kind of tricky, but attendance was good and a lovely occasion. The milder weather was a plus, not much cooler than in some of the big churches in Milwaukee in the winter, comfortable if you kept your coat on.
It is dark now, not sure if I will be up at midnight. No fireworks to rouse you here!
