non-pet, non-garden

After months of driving by the Armstrong County YMCA in Kittanning, I went in and asked what they offer in aquatic exercise a week ago Wednesday. They have an Arthritis Foundation approved program that meets three mornings a week, and the first class was later that morning. I filled out papers then went home and got my swim suit. Finding it right away was almost a miracle in itself as I still haven’t completely unpacked from the move from Cribbs Road and hadn’t had the swim gear out since I left Milwaukee.

It will take a while to get back to where I was before, but at least I am started. Probably should have looked into this last summer after I got the car and the weather was good. I am getting ready to attend the 5th session this morning. On Monday the tired but no pain feeling lasted over half an hour after I got out of the water. I have been feeling short of breath since Christmas, was making it hard to sing in choir. That seems to be improving too.
