Wild and windy

Fall foliage
We had more glorious fall days with shirt sleeve weather, then a day of rain yesterday. This morning started mild and got colder and windier. The clouds blew away by noon, then white ragged clouds returned until now when it is almost totally overcast. Was a great day to hang clothes out to dry, did three loads. Just had to be sure to use extra clothes pins and check frequently to see that the laundry wasn’t blowing away.
I think I came close to seeing the cow in the photo drop her calf. She was off by herself then I saw it lying on the ground beside her. She licked it and it stood up. The rest of the cows have joined them in that corner of the pasture now.
Bode was up barking at a distant thunder storm last night, now he is barking at the sounds the wind makes. It really moans out back through the guy wire for the electric pole.
Bode in the wind - can see his eyes
Bode has been out more today, got that swept back look from the wind.
