Feels like autumn

Last of the summer sunrises
Guess I will start with a sunrise photo today. It is cool, really feels like fall, much more than this time last year (right after I moved).
Still not working on needlework yet, mostly because of playing around with the new iBook. It will probably never be “done” but has been a source of amusement, plus a good excuse to upgrade software.
We are still working on using IM to communicate for our Saturday Mito Chats. The new version of Microsoft Messenger lets you add people, including people on Yahoo, to group IM sessions. I was using another client, but Jean was able to add several people for an interesting session.
I am in a choir, although it is temporary, for an area Reformation Sunday joint service. There are to be hand-bells and brass too, so quite excited. At least half the people there were used to singing together too. When we got started singing in four parts, was kind of like riding a bike. A familiar feeling when it takes off but a wonder none the less. It has been years since I sat with five other altos.
We are planning to do a piece by a local composer too. Turns out it is the piece I ended up humming.
