WordPress Contact Form

WordPress Contact Form 7 is one of the more popular WordPress plugins on Dreamhost according to one of their recent blog posts.

I have been using the mail form provided by Dreamhost for some time, you can see both in action on the genealogy page I added recently.

Here is the default configuration:

    Your Name (required)

    Your Email (required)

    Subject (required)

    Your Message

    Will be interesting to see how a form comes through on the RSS feed to Facebook and other social sites. Facebook users, click the “view original post” link if it doesn’t come through.

      I have added Akismet spam filtering to the contact form on this post. The Contact 7 plugin lets you do that through the Contact section of the WordPress Dashboard under Settings.

      The other contact form that I set up on the Genealogy page has not had one spam message go through. This one was having several a day.
