deep throat

I was walking Mike through sending a file through AOL as an attachment when we saw the headline.

That reminded me that I lived through the period when the “party of Lincoln” became the “party of Nixon” and all the other fallout. My grandfather was especially upset, couldn’t understand why people in high office would do things like that.

The other thing that hit me this spring is that we have a whole generation of people who have grown up associating lawn treatment chemical stench with spring. I still remember when the air smelled of blossoms and freshness. See Suzanne’s poem.

When I went out yesterday to run an errand, saw the tents for Riversplash being set up in the park. This afternoon Old World Third Street just north of my block was closed for the festival too. It was so nice to be able to go out without bundling up. Temperatures are to be in the 70s for a while.
