We still seem to be on a weather roller coaster. Monday was mild and in the afternoon I coaxed Bode into the tub for a bath. Every other week seems to work well. The bathroom window is frosted so I couldn’t see out, but it got very dark quickly with rumbles and high wind. I told Bode to stay in the tub. The sky outside looked like the clouds were boiling and there was a very strong wind. I rescued the laundry that was out on the line, then got the dog rinsed and into towels quickly. He was not happy, is not fond of baths, although he seems to enjoy the results but does not like thunder storms at all.
Yesterday it was cooler with sunshine. I didn’t feel very well so only went out for mail and to hang out the laundry I postponed washing on Monday. Early this morning I woke up, heard Bode growling. There had been high winds all day so I was expecting a storm. There was some lightning and thunder which sounded like it was far away. I got up to check the computer and unplugged the modem and went back to bed.
The furry alarm clocks let me sleep in until almost 7:30 am today. When I got up the ground was white! Bode the snow dog was thrilled at winter’s return. I was less than enthusiastic. Looks like it is sleet not snow on the ground but we may get snow this afternoon.
