Tall beach bunnies, Dave and Deb, were on their way to a Tall Club International gathering in Rochester NY. We met at the bathing beach at Crooked Creek Dam for a swim and chat, then they stopped by the house before continuing north. Dave flew from Milwaukee to Pittsburgh yesterday morning then picked up a rental car (had to reject two before he got one that accommodated his 7’3″ frame), then met Deb at her home.
It is still hot here, in the 90s yesterday, but there was a nice cool breeze at the reservoir. One of the sunflowers is showing yellow petals and the hot weather seems to agree with the zinnia plants. I have picked a half dozen ripe plum tomatoes and one pepper is starting to turn red.
